Next Generation of Food Entrepreneurs in Rearcross
It is all happening in North Tipperary Food Works at the moment. On the 3rd May, Rearcross welcomed 17 students from 2nd Year Culinary Arts, LIT and their lecturers Sara Jane Kickem and Agnes Bouchier Hayes. They came to Rearcross to learn about food production and the development of the food centre from Eleanor Forrest, Tipperary North County Enterprise Board, Muireann Brophy and Eamon O Toole, North Tipperary Food Works.
The artisan food industry is growing steadily at the moment and will provide a good future for a rural area in North Tipperary with two food producers ready to move in over the next number of weeks.
