Clonmel Gearing Up to Host ‘Clonmel Applefest’ 2024
Clonmel Applefest 2024 is due to take place from the 26th to the 29th of September. The festival is a celebration of food, heritage and the natural environment of Clonmel highlighted through the arts.
This festival aims to promote local and national food producers, artists, performers and crafters showcasing the rich cultural and historical value of Clonmel.
This year the festival will celebrate the stories from the lives of the older generation in Clonmel who will share their wisdom. The second project taking place as part of the festival is called ‘Our Soul Food’, this multicultural stitch and talk project is based around sharing food memories, making tablemats and centrepieces for the various tables included in the finale community meal on the 29th of September. This festival is free to attend.
