Shannon Airport retains position as Ireland’s number one airport brand

An online research survey conducted by Red C between May 2nd – 22nd 2024 has shown that Shannon Airport has retained its position as Ireland’s No.1 airport brand. The survey involving 2,024 online participants used facial expressions to identify emotions connected with brands. The participants were shown a brand and asked to choose as quickly as possible the emotion that made them feel.  

The data taken from this survey was then weighted across age, gender, region and social class to be representative of all adults aged 18 and over in the Republic of Ireland.  

The survey findings showed that Shannon Airport ranked among the top 100 brands, placed at number one retaining its title as Ireland’s top airport brand.  

Reacting to the results of the survey, Tim Ryan, Head of Brand and Marketing at The Shannon Airport Group said,  

 “We are thrilled to have retained our position as the best airport brand in Ireland in the 2024 Red C Brand Reaction Index.
