Borrisokane Players Ask That Whatever You Do in 2019, ‘Don’t Tell The Wife’
Following on from last year’s successful outing with ‘Separate Beds’ by Sam Cree, Borrisokane Players are delighted to present another of his comic offerings for 2019 with ‘Don’t Tell The Wife’.
Thanks to idle gossip and a best friend who loves to stir the pot, Mrs. Willis is convinced that her plumber husband is chasing around after other women. He’s nearing the dangerous age and springtime does tend to make a man frisky! Her unwavering conviction of Mr. Willis’ adultery leads to a series of comic misunderstandings, involving a French lodger, a male escort and ‘Bridget’.

The cast have been working tirelessly since November to ensure a quality production and Borrisokane Players are delighted to welcome the debut of 4 new actors to the Clarke Memorial Stage; Caroline Deane, Ava Deane, Darragh Haugh & Debbie Doherty. No strangers to the stage, Borrisokane Players are delighted to see the return of Robert Hayes, Morgan Haugh, Gay Hackett and Ciara O’Meara for their 2019 production.
Under the direction of Tom Hayes & Eddie Lillis, the combined experience, attention to detail and delivery and comical understanding, which they bring to the stage, has ensured a performance not to be missed.
