The food sector is alive and well in Tipperary

A recent workshop in North Tipperary Food Works on ‘Evaluating Opportunities in the Food
Sector’ shows the high entrepreneurial interest in food production in the area. Last month, 9 people attended the workshop run by Tipperary North County Entreprise Board, all of who are interested in starting a local food business.
The facility in Rearcross is a state of the art food production complex so if you’re thinking of becoming the next Cooleeney Farm or Crossogue Preserves, make sure you call Muireann Brophy on 067 33086 or email northtippfoodworks@gmail.com to view the time share kitchen, rent a food production unit or keep you up to date on food training courses being held there.
