County Tipperary Community Games News
The County Tipperary Community Games Athletic Finals will take place on Sunday next, 26th June in Templemore Track. The Marathon will begin at 11am, the Parade will commence at 11.30am with all other events starting at 12 noon. There will be a charge of €5.00 per adult at the gate. The Community Games Pledge will be read by Moycarkey Borris in English & Ballingarry in Irish. The Community Games Flame will be lit by St. Marys & the National Anthem performed by Silvermines. 1st event on the track at 12 noon will be the Girls & Boys U/10 60m Hurdles & U/14 80m Hurdles. Please ensure that you listen to all PA announcements on the day to ensure that athletes do not miss their events. Spikes are only permitted for U/14, U/15 & U/16 athletes. All Parish entries will be posted on our website www.tipperarycommunitygames.com this week. Can all Area Secretaries please ensure that they check this list to make sure that all entries they sent in to Kathleen England are present & correct.
Well done to Toomevara who beat Moycarkey Borris 4 – 0 in the County Final of the Boys U/12 Soccer. Congratulations are also due to Nenagh Girls U/15 Soccer team who beat Cahir in the County Final. Both Toomevara & Nenagh together with Roscrea Girls U/12 Soccer team now go forward to represent Tipperary at the Munster Finals in UL. Preliminary rounds for Boys & Girls Soccer take place on Wednesday 6th July.
In the Boys U/13 Futsal North Final, St. Flannans beat Silvermines while in the Girls U/13 Futsal North Final, Nenagh beat St. Flannans.

Monday 4th July – Camogie & Hurling
Tuesday 5th July – Gaelic Football U/10 & U/12 Girls
Wednesday 6th July – Soccer Boys & Girls
Thursday 7th July – Rounders
