Kate English – Newly appointed Chief Economist at Deloitte Ireland

Kate English has been announced as the new Chief Economist at Deloitte Ireland. The New Inn native joined the company in December 2022 and quickly established herself as a valuable member of the team. She has shown great expertise in translating economic data which is difficult to understand into practical strategies for her clients as well as being a trusted voice on macroeconomic trends in Ireland. Her new role will see her and her team conducting research across economic and policy areas, offering analysis and assessments of macroeconomic trends in Ireland and other key trading markets.  

Speaking on her appointment to the role of Chief Economist, Kate English said: “Now, more than ever, businesses and policymakers need accurate, data-driven insights to navigate an evolving economic landscape.
