Roscrea Library Closing To Facilitate Refurbishments
Roscrea Library is set to close on Monday the 20th of January for two weeks. According to an announcement on Tipperary Libraries’ website the library is closed to the public to facilitate refurbishments that need to be completed.
The library is one of 5 across the county who are considered open libraries. This means that all the usual services are available to visitors including borrowing books, using computers and printing services, however these libraries have no staff present. Members of the My Open Library service must complete an induction to ensure that they agree to the terms of becoming a member of the open library.
While the refurbishing works are taking place the My Open Library services provided in the Roscrea centre will not be open to the public. Members should be aware that renewals of loans and reservations can be made on your online account while the usual services are unavailable.
Services will resume as normal on the 4th of February.
