People Across Tipperary Urged To Remain Vigilant After Passing Of Storm Eowyn
In the wake of Storm Éowyn, people are being warned to stay vigilant, taking note of the level of warning in their area. Across Tipperary thousands of people have been affected by a loss of power and many of these faults are still being attended to. Power outages affected areas across the county including areas around Tipperary Town, Cashel, Dualla and parts of Templemore and Thurles.
Motorists are also encouraged to maintain the utmost level of care when travelling this evening and into the coming days due to the level of debris and fallen trees on roads which will have to be cleared. Trees have been reported to be blocking roads in Nenagh, Birdhill, Killoscully and the Horse and Jockey. People across Tipperary are being asked to report any instances of fallen trees or debris blocking roadways to Tipperary County Council by visiting this link and filling in the report form.
