Moyne Templetouhy Christmas Vehicle Parade 2024
The Annual Moyne Templetouhy Christmas Tractor Parade is scheduled to take place on December 14th. The festive parade will be run in aid of two charities; Teach Saoirse and Sr Theresa Carey African Missions. Teach Saoirse is A Nenagh based organisation that provides vital respite services for children with disabilities. Sister Theresa Carey’s African Missions provide aid to people in the most impoverished areas of Africa. Volunteers will have collection buckets available on night in both Moyne and Templetouhy villages. Donations, however small, will be much appreciated. The machinery parade will begin in Templetouhy where spectacularly decorated tractors and other festive vehicles will be driven through the streets of the village. The parade will pass through the village at approximately 5:45pm and will continue to Moyne village where it will arrive at approximately 6:30pm. Spectators will receive free hot beverages and treats at Tigh Maighne between 6pm and 7pm. In addition to this live music will also be played at Tigh Maighne through the evening. Santa Claus will be making a very special appearance at Tigh Maighne to visit the children in attendance.
