Family Events at Cashel Library will be in full swing with a screening of ‘Santa Buddies – The Legend of Santa Paws’ in time for Christmas. The film will be shown on Friday the 20th of December at 2.15pm. This film is rated U meaning that it is suitable for everyone. Parents of children under 4 years of age should be aware that this film contains some scenes which may be mildly frightening for very young children. Santa Buddies is one for everyone to enjoy and this screening will provide a break from the festive madness to relax with family in a comfortable setting.  

Santa Buddies – The Legend of Santa Paws begins with a crisis unfolding, Santa Claus and his dog Santa Paws have found that the magical Christmas icicle is melting because people across the world have stopped believing in Christmas. Meanwhile Santa Paws’ son Puppy Paws wishes that he could be a normal dog and leave the North Pole. He finds the name Budderball on the Naughty list and decides to learn from him how to become a normal dog. As the icicle continues to melt, Puppy Paws pays visits Budderball and his siblings where he causes lots of trouble for the five other pups. The film takes a dramatic turn when Puppy Paws is taken by the dog catcher. While Puppy Paws is in the pound Budderball and his siblings must devise a plan to get him out and teach him about the true meaning of Christmas before it’s too late.
