Historic Structures Fund 2025 Announced

Tipperary County Council have announced details of the Historic Structures Fund 2025. This fund has been developed to benefit the owners of historic buildings to protect these structures for the good of communities and the public. Funding from €50,000 to €200,000 will be provided based on community benefit being demonstrated and/ or a clear residential benefit being shown. The funding provided can be used for refurbishment of these properties and large enhancements.
Buildings which will be accepted into the scheme include Protected Structures, buildings eligible for the Record of Protected Structures or those already listed and buildings or structures in Architectural Conservation Areas. All works carried out on buildings or structures under the Historic Structures Fund must be compliant with all relevant statutory requirements.
An application form, Application Checklist and Comprehensive Method Statement for the works drawn up by a competent conservation professional must all be completed in order to apply for funding under the Historic Structures Fund 2025. These documents are available to download from Tipperary County Council’s website here All applications must be submitted to the Planning Section of Tipperary County Council by 4pm on Friday the 17th of January 2025.
