Proposed Works in Marlfield Village Co. Tipperary Granted Forty-Five Thousand in Funding

The Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works, Kieran O’Donnell has announced the approval of €45,000 granted to Tipperary County Council under the Office of Public Works’ Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection Scheme.  

The funding granted came after an application was made for proposed works in Marlfield Village, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Included in the works will be temporary work to support a large retaining wall, the removal of surrounding trees and vegetation at the site and works to strengthen existing stonework and concrete retaining walls for the upstream embankment.
