Peter Gowen’s ‘Declan’s Got Talent’ At The Source Arts Centre
‘Declan’s Got Talent’ is a new dark comedy by Peter Gowen, and it is set to be staged by Flight2Flight Theatre at the Source Arts Centre in Thurles this November.
The play tells the story of Declan who after years of suffering from confidence issues has been given the opportunity to audition for Britain’s Got Talent. The story unfolds as Declan prepares for the audition and tries to silence the voice of ‘his friend’ who is a negative influence in his mind. This journey of self-discovery takes us as the audience back to Declan’s past where he tries to enter the Church and triumph over the negative presence which follows him.
Peter Gowen will star in the production alongside Jack Healy. The play will take place on November 1st at 2pm. Tickets for this show are available through the Source Arts Centre Website here . Tickets are priced at €18 for adults and €15 for seniors and students.
