Fun And Fitness Key to Dance Classes in The Premier Hall

Adult Dance Classes

Fun, Fitness and Music are being combined in ‘Adult Dance Classes’ run every Wednesday in The Premier Hall Thurles E41 CX51. These lessons are being facilitated by Sinéad Brolan Cahill and Clíodhna Treacy. They will combine elements of modern dance, Zumba and Irish dancing to create a fusion of fun filled dances to benefit your fitness.

Dancing is highly beneficial in many ways for the upkeep and improvement of overall health and fitness. It helps to improve cardiovascular health and improves your balance and strength. Dancing of any kind also helps you not only in improving your physical fitness but also your mental well-being. It challenges your brain to think in new ways, helps keep your memory strong and helps with organisation skills.

Zumba is an exercise routine done in the form of dancing where the participants move to the beat of the music playing. This has also been shown to have many benefits for the body. Like dance it improves cardiovascular health by increasing the heart rate, it decreases blood pressure, and it is a full body workout which helps with weight loss. Zumba can also be adapted to meet different fitness levels so that everyone can reap the benefits it provides.

The next Adult Dance Class will take place on Wednesday the 23rd of October from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. For more information on the classes contact Clíodhna Treacy on 085 126 3812 or email cliodhnatreacy1512@gmail.com
