Tipperary Company Clancy Construction Awarded Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Accolade
Tipperary based company Clancy Construction has been awarded Ireland’s Best Managed Companies (BMC) accolade. The Thurles based company was among 129 Irish companies recognised at the 16th annual award ceremony.
Founded in 1947, Clancy Construction provides sustainably constructed and designed buildings completed to the highest standards. They have built projects in a range of sectors including student accommodation, education, hospitality, commercial, healthcare and conservation.
The awards run by Deloitte evaluate the management and business plans of privately owned companies across the country and these are then assessed in areas such as social, environmental and governance standards, talent strategy and strategic planning.
Speaking about the BMC Awards, Brian Murphy, Lead Partner for Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Award Programme, said: “The Irish economic growth story has been extraordinary, and we see this evidenced in the success of Irish indigenous businesses and the confidence shown by Best Managed Companies. Ensuring Ireland’s entrepreneurs and the companies they start get the support they need to grow and scale is crucial.”
