Tigh Maighne Host ‘Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning for Hospice’.
On Thursday, September 26th, Tigh Maighne( E41 AK51) will host a coffee morning. The aim of this event is to raise funds for the local hospice. People are being encouraged to come together and enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat while supporting a vital service. The funds raised by Tigh Maighne from this coffee morning will be used to support the care given to patients in the hospice. The event will begin at 8:30am and run for the rest of the morning.
Tigh Maighne is a community run; volunteer-based café and shop. The café/ shop was set up to act as a meeting place for locals in the village of Moyne outside Thurles and allows people to meet friends, shop for essentials or have a coffee without having to travel to the next town. Tigh Maighne’s success shows how a community coming together can make something great.
This coffee morning hosted by Tigh Maighne in support of the local hospice will aim to again demonstrate the power of communities coming together and how this can make a significant difference in helping a worthy cause.
