Roscrea Library Adult Book Club
New York Times Bestselling author Susan Wiggs says, “You’re never alone when you’re reading a book” and this is certainly true for Roscrea Library’s Adult Book Club who meet on the last Wednesday of every month from 3:30pm to 4:30pm to discuss the latest book they have been reading.
Book Clubs such as this one create a place where avid readers can come together to share their love for literature and can also introduce more reluctant readers to the world of books. There is also a wonderful social aspect to joining a book club which allows people to meet other individuals who may have common interests. Not only do they introduce people to new books and create new friendships but joining book clubs can also help people to increase their own personal knowledge and encourage them to think more deeply about what they are reading, as well as hearing different perspectives on books they read as a group from fellow readers during discussions.
Roscrea Adult Book Club’s next session will take place on September 25th and new members are always welcome to join. For further information about the Roscrea Library Adult Book Club please email roscrealibrary@tipperarycoco.ie or call 0505 22032
