Ghostly ‘Spleodar’ Halloween Arts Festival Coming to Nenagh this Halloween
‘Spleodar’ Halloween Arts Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024. This spooky festival was set up over two decades ago to introduce young people to all aspects of the arts. For 5 whole days the festival will be jammed with workshops, storytelling, artistry and many other activities for children of all ages. Events will be run from the 29th of October to the 2nd of November.
If last year’s festival is any indication, events for this year’s festival should be spooktacular. Suitable events for children ages 5-12 at last year’s event included two films (Tangled and The Corpse Bride), a face painting workshop, lantern and mask making workshops, a treasure hunt, a window dressing competition and a fireworks display.
Prices for the 2023 festival ranged from €2-5. Many events and workshops were also free to attend.
