Garryhinch Wood Exotic Mushrooms – Offaly
Bord Bia has announced the shortlisted organic food and beverage businesses for the National Organic Awards 2024. These awards showcase nineteen Irish food and drinks companies in seven categories. The awards are held in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to celebrate the high standards of the organic growers, producers and manufacturers in this country. Among the shortlisted food producers for 2024 is Garryhinch Wood Exotic Mushrooms from Portarlington, County Offaly. The winners of these awards will be announced in a ceremony at the Bord Bia Global Hub in Dublin on Thursday, October 17th.
The National Organic Awards are held every two years with organic food producers from all over the country being celebrated. Previous winners of the award include Flahavan’s Oats, Glenisk and Dunnes Stores.
Bord Bia’s Client Capability development team delivers business growth by implanting best practice commercial marketing knowledge, practices, and skills within companies. They provide a wide range of client capability supports including strategy development, customer management, routes to market and branding.
This year’s shortlist of nineteen companies was whittled down from over 100 entrants by a panel of expert judges who will choose the overall winner to be announced at the ceremony in October.
