Thurles Town Hosting Guided Walk As Part Of National Heritage Week
As part of National Heritage Week, Barry O’Reilly from the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage will host a guided walk of Thurles town showcasing its historic streetscapes. The tour will explore Thurles starting from the steps of the Source Arts Centre featuring Thurles’ magnificent cathedral and its fascinating everyday buildings. Thurles’ rich history of craftsmanship and the rich historical value of the town will be highlighted throughout the tour. This free guided walk will take place on Wednesday August 21st starting at 7pm and will not be one to miss.
