The Source Arts Centre Hosts ‘The Ennio Morricone Experience’
The Source Arts Centre, Thurles will host a celebration of the music of film legend Ennio Morricone. ‘The Morricone Experience’ will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 8pm. The experience will feature the talent of a range of highly acclaimed international and Irish musicians and singers including Francesca De Nardi, Annemarie McGahon, Morgan Crowley, Annalisa Monticelli, Katy Kelly and Davide Forti.
Throughout his lifetime Morricone wrote over 400 film compositions, these include the scores to some of the most iconic movies of all time. Audience favourites which feature the music of the film wizard include ‘the Good, the Bad and the Ugly’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’, ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ and ‘The Mission’.
