Applications Open to New Applicants for the Youth Services Grant Scheme

Department for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has opened applications for new organisations to apply for funding under the Youth Service Grant Scheme. As part of the scheme up to €1.25 million is being made available to first time applicants from October 2024 to December 2025.  

Organisations who currently work with young people providing support for their personal or social needs are eligible to apply for funding under the scheme. These supports may include running clubs or activities for young people. Organisations must have wide geographic coverage with services in at least three Education and Training board areas. In addition to organisations which provide clubs and activities for young people those that add significant value to the wider youth sector by supporting the work of other youth organisations may also apply for funding under the scheme. Minimum grant allocations under the scheme will be €125,000 per applicant and the maximum grant allocation permitted will be €437,500 per applicant. Applications for funding under the scheme must be submitted by 6pm on the 16th September 2024.
