Tipperary Company Scoops Second Major Award

Komatsu Dealer of the Year Award presented to McHale Plant Sales

Tipperary Based McHale Plant Sales have been presented with a major award from Swedish company Komatsu Forest organisation. The ‘Dealer of the Year’ award was presented to McHale Plant Sales for its contribution to the marketing and sales of their timber harvesting equipment in Ireland.  

Timber harvesters marketed by McHale are used to fell forestry, strip bark and branches and prepare the timber for processing.  

The award was presented at a conference in Frankfurt attended by distributors from all sectors that market Komatsu products. McHale’s chairman Michael McHale described the award saying it is “an award we are honoured to receive”, it recognises the work done by the company in securing a prominent market position for Komatsu forestry equipment in the seven years since being appointed to the role.” 

This award is the second major award received by McHale Plant Sales in the past few weeks. Komatsu’s award is the second award they received with the first coming from Finnish Stone Crusher Manufacturer Metso.  

These awards are viewed by McHale as “immensely beneficial” and will help to promote the company name as they advance in the areas of forestry, construction, agriculture and waste management expanding their operations further in Ireland and the UK.
