The Source Arts Centre Presents Limelight Theatricals ‘The Addams Family’

The Addams Family

“They’re creepy and they’re kooky. Mysterious and spooky. They’re all together, ooky. The Addams Family.”

Limelight Theatricals will present their very own production of ‘The Addams Family’. The production will run in the Source Arts Centre Thurles from Wednesday July 31st to Saturday August 3rd.

Based around the eccentric Addams Family who revel in the macabre things in life ‘The Addams Family’ follows this strange clan as their worst nightmare comes true: their children start growing up.

The nightmare begins as their teenage daughter Wednesday falls in love with Lucas Beineke, a boy from a normal Ohio family. The furthest person imaginable from any of the Addams’. The nightmare only gets worse as Wednesday invites the Beineke family to dinner. This show follows the hilarious events of the night the Beineke’s come to visit. Secrets are revealed and family relationships are tested. The Addams’ must confront changes in their lifestyle which they have managed to avoid for generations.

The show will begin at 8pm each night and a sensory matinee will be run at 2:30pm on Saturday. Tickets are available for €19 excluding booking fees and are available for purchase – here

This unique musical comedy featuring the quirky upside-down world of the Addams Family is one not to be missed.
