Nenagh Arts Centre Holds ‘Circle of Life’ Art Workshop Hosted by Renowned Artist Lynn Kirkham
Artist Lynn Kirkham is hosting a series of art workshops under the title ‘Circle of Life’, the second of which is being held on the 7th of August in Nenagh Arts Centre (E45 NX26). This workshop will explore the beauty of using naturally sourced, sustainable materials to create artworks. Lynn is one of the country’s most renowned sustainable artists and is well known for her work in basket weaving and sculpture using fresh willow and other natural materials.
Through guided instruction attendees will learn the techniques needed to create their own artworks using natural materials under the theme of the ‘Circle of Life’. The ‘Circle of Life’ workshop series will continue on August 7th and further workshops will be held on September 4th and October 2nd. Workshops will start at 3.30pm and finish at 7pm.
Catering to experienced artists and inquisitive beginners, this free workshop aims to provide a space where you are unrestricted in expressing your creativity and can become connected with the natural world through art.
