Loughmore to host inaugural ‘Purcell Picnic’
The village of Loughmore is gearing up to host its first ever Purcell Picnic. This event will celebrate the heritage, culture and history of Loughmore and will also act as a family reunion for members of the Purcell family who first came from Loughmore. The event will take place on Sunday June 23rd in Loughmore. It promises to be a fun filled day of traditional music and crafts for everyone to enjoy. There is an optional medieval dress code for those who want to attend the festival. Tickets are priced at €20 for adults and are available for purchase at The Cottage Loughmore (E41 FK30) or by scanning the code on the festival’s promotional poster (pictured) Kids go free!!
