Gurteen Agricultural College to host Energy and Farm Diversification Show 2024

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue, has launched the Energy and Farm Diversification Show 2024. The event will take place on July 18th, 2024, in Gurteen Agricultural College, Co Tipperary. The event will aim to promote sustainability and innovation in the agricultural sector.  

Gurteen Agricultural College is set to become a focus point for landowners who want to participate in sustainable practices. Discussions will take place concentrating on diversification in tourism, energy, food, leisure and more. Other topics that will be covered in the show will include biodiversity, climate change and emphasising the role of the agricultural sector in managing these issues. The show will explore new technologies and methods to make the sectors climate resilience more efficient. This event will aim to create a greener planet and provide people with the “knowledge, information and tools needed to thrive in an eco-conscious era.”
