Ecclesiastical Insurance and Benefact Group Launch Charity Heroes Awards to Celebrate Irish Charities
Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland have launched the Charity Heroes Awards 2024. This event is a new awards programme designed to celebrate and support charities across the country that are working to deliver positive change.
The Awards are open to charities based in Ireland and the UK. Winning charities will receive €5,000 and runners up will also receive €1,000. This year will mark the inaugural year of the awards. There are six categories covering a wide range of social issues, so the awards are open to as many charities as possible.
Entries are open from now until July 26th and charities can apply by filling in a simple form through this link – https://benefactgroup.com/awards . The award ceremony will take place on the 28th of November in London.
David Lane, Managing Director of Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland says,
“We are incredibly excited to launch the new Charity Heroes Awards in Ireland, offering a unique and exciting opportunity for Irish charities to gain the recognition they truly deserve for their remarkable work.
At Benefact Group and Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, we are passionate about celebrating and supporting those who dedicate themselves to creating a positive social impact. As part of a family of specialist financial services companies owned by a charity, charitable giving is at the very heart of what we do. All our available profits go to good causes, and the more we grow, the more we can give back to our communities.
These new awards we are launching today, celebrate the incredible diversity of charitable efforts, from inspiring volunteer work and innovative projects to impactful leadership and community initiatives. By recognising and celebrating these achievements, we hope to inspire even more positive change across Ireland. I am constantly inspired by the unwavering efforts of the charity community, and I hope to see an Irish organisation among the winners at our grand ceremony in London on 28 November. It’s time to shine a spotlight on our local charity heroes so simply follow the link and nominate your charity hero.”
