Mid-West Humanists will hold an Open Public Meeting on Article 41 Referenda
The Mid-West Humanists will hold an Open Public Meeting on Tuesday 20 February 2024 at 20:00 at the Strand Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick about the Referenda on Friday 8 March 2024 on Amendments nos 39 and 40 to the Constitution, which both would change parts of Article 41.
Peter O’Hara of the Mid-West Humanists says: – “Many people are not sure how to vote and many people feel they do not have enough information about the questions in these Amendments. This meeting will try to allow every person, who so desires, to give their opinion. They will thus hear other persons’ opinions, and we hope there will be good discussion”.
The Mid-West Humanists will give a 4 page information sheet to every person as they arrive. They will answer any attender’s questions as best they can.
Peter O’Hara adds: – “At the end of the meeting we hope that nearly every person will know better how they will vote. The Mid-West Humanists will NOT suggest to any person how they should vote.”
