Special Music/Film Event for Tipp!
Fresh from our triumphant performances at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023 (listed as ‘A masterpiece’), Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist Girish Paul will perform a special concert with his virtual orchestra to mark the worldwide release of his new album The Diary of Anne Frank Her Journey in Music at Rathgormack Community Centre, Carrick on Suir on Saturday 21st October 2023 at 8.00 pm as part of a tour of Ireland.
The production has received the full support of the Anne Frank Fonds Foundation in Switzerland that was set up by Anne’s father Otto Frank after World War Two, and has received several accolades (see below).
What audiences can expect to see and hear
‘Anne Frank enjoyed many happy moments whilst in secret hiding, and music lovers will be treated to a unique audio-visual experience that will sweep them through Anne’s life, from happy days at school, birthday celebrations to leaving home and the arduous journey to Amsterdam. The audience will experience firsthand Anne’s growth, passions, conflicts, humour and her innermost feelings. The music features live instruments supported by recorded orchestral pieces that are synchronised with the actors’ performances up on the silver screen that will transport the audience to a bygone age. We wish to thank Nora Bray, the venue and it’s staff for their kind support of our new production.’
