Funding available for Thurles and Templemore Town Enhancement and Painting Scheme 2020

Tipperary County Council is seeking to improve the streetscape and public realm of the towns of Thurles and Templemore through supporting owners of properties in improving and enhancing their properties and public areas generally by such means as, but not limited to : 1. Removal of inappropriate contemporary signage, fittings and general clutter and replacement with shop fascia signage (with an emphasis on hand painted signage). 2. Painting and general improvements to Commercial and Residential building frontages. 3. Erection of planters, floral hanging baskets or other environmental improvements. Maximum Grant: 50% of the approved cost of the works subject to a maximum of €500.00. Priority will be given to applications for properties that are in need of works in order to prevent them from becoming and or continuing to be derelict.
