Action packed programme of events announced to celebrate ‘Local Enterprise Week’ in Tipperary

The first week of March will see 20 business focused events take place across County Tipperary to celebrate Local Enterprise Week. The aim of Local Enterprise Week is to increase awareness of the range of supports and services available to anyone thinking of starting a business or expanding an existing enterprise. The week’s calendar has been designed to provide information and guidance on a number of topics including the economy, customer service, idea generation, e-commerce, tourism, and improving business competitiveness generally.

Action packed programme of events announced to celebrate ‘Local Enterprise Week’ in TipperaryLocal Enterprise Week will kick off with the announcement of the winner of the County Enterprise Awards followed by a working supper titled “There is Only One Boss – the Customer!” at the Horse & Jockey on Monday 2 March. Tuesday 3 March will see an idea generation workshop take place in the morning followed by a “Transform your business mentoring bootcamp” in Clonmel offering one to one mentoring on HR & Employment Legislation, Finance, Website & E-Commerce, Brexit and E-Tendering. This bootcamp will be replicated in Nenagh on Thursday afternoon 5 March. Wednesday 4 March will feature a Business Modelling & Value Proposition design workshop taking place in Brú Ború Cashel and an E-Commerce seminar in Nenagh.

The week’s calendar also features a high profile economic breakfast briefing at Anner Hotel on Thursday morning 5 March in addition to a series of business skills training courses and free business advice sessions taking place throughout the week.

Local Enterprise Week will culminate on Friday 6 March with a celebration of Women in Business taking place in Clonmel and a tourism network event in Excel Centre, Tipperary Town.
