Tipperary family-owned business wins Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena award at the National Ploughing Championships

From new machinery to cow recognition software solutions for farmers, the most innovative Irish agri-tech and agri-engineering products took home Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena Awards at the National Ploughing Championships in Carlow.
Enterprise Ireland’s Chief Executive, Julie Sinnamon and Managing Director of the National Ploughing Association, Anna May McHugh presented Declan Crosse of Woodco Renewable Energy with the ‘Agri-Environmental’ award.
Woodco Renewable Energy was one of fifty exhibitors at Enterprise Ireland’s Innovation Arena, showcasing the best of enterprise and innovation within the agricultural sector in Ireland. This Tipperary-based company specialises in efficient energy production as it manufactures, supplies and supports a wide range of Biomass boiler systems.
