FOLM project helps young people find employment or training through Outdoors Learning Programme
Are you unemployed or just finished your course? We can help and support you with finding a job that suits you. Looking for new opportunities this summer or in between courses? Aged 18-29? Then FOLM may be for you.
FOLM (From Outdoors to Labour Market) is a project aimed at helping young people find employment or training through an Outdoors Learning Programme.
There are three Phases:
Phase 1 – Qualified coach appointed to a group of 10 young people.
Phase 2 – Outdoor Learning with expert trainers over a 7 day period
Phase 3 –individual face to face coaching and group work to support and provide opportunities for Training, Education, Volunteer work and Labour Market. The coaches will help to develop the CVs, interview techniques, and other life skills and have access to the FOLM job matching online platform.
The dates for the FOLM programme are as follows:
Clonmel, Cahir, Fethard, Carrick area
Week of 20th May – 16th July
Outdoor Learning: 6th -12th June
6 months mentoring after
Limerick/Nenagh
Week of 3rd June – 30th July
Outdoor Learning: 20th -26th June
6 months mentoring after
