MACE Loughnafulla Thurles to celebrate its store launch event

 Tipperary All Star hurler Seamus Callanan will be on hand next Thursday, September 14, to officially open the MACE Loughnafulla store in Thurles. Callanan, who has two All-Ireland medals and three All Stars to his credit will be present from 2pm until 4pm to cut the ribbon and mingle with guests.


MACE Loughnafulla has been an asset to the local community for well over a year now and has undergone many changes in this short period of time to constantly improve their offerings with the addition of an ATM and recently inputted off licence, this immaculate, well run store is now looking to celebrate their success with the community.


To celebrate the official opening, retailers Walter and Monica Drohan are inviting the local community to a family fun day to officially open their store on Friday September 14th 2pm – 4pm.


The family owned store has played a significant role in the area and includes a hot and cold deli, lotto, Treatz ice cream offering and Bewley’s coffee station. The celebratory event will take place on September 14th, from 2 pm until 4 pm, and there will be plenty to keep people entertained with the Spin South West roadshow onsite with goodie bags and further prize giveaways and special offers on selected products, as well as the special guest appearance of local hero Seamus Callanan.


The local children will also be well catered for with a face painter, balloon modeller, bouncy castle and giant connect 4 game.


Walter and Monica Drohan , owners of MACE Loughnafulla are delighted to host this event for the local community and provide a strong offering to the area: “The store is focused on establishing a strong fresh food range and we want people to enjoy their food and coffee and feel welcomed and at home in the store. Opening hours of the store are Monday- Friday 7.30am – 10pm and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays from 8am to 9pm.
