Speaking at the launch event, Dr. Maeve Martin said, “Throughout my career and especially during the past five years in my own practice, I have noticed a rise in the number of you people suffering from anxiety and depression; over 45% of the referrals to our service are between the ages of 13 and 24 years. Similarly, there is a sharp increase in parents bringing children as young as three for a variety of emotional and behavioural problems. Finally, apart from the assessment work we do, more and more adults present at our clinics who are struggling to cope with modern day work/home challenges causing chronic stress, sleep disturbances and addiction problems.”

You don’t have to be sick to come to us, in fact early intervention can minimise stress and equip you with coping mechanisms to prevent the onset of stress-related illness.
