Ever the one to try new experiences, Jake ended a very busy gigging season in 2017 by trying his hand at acting, and played the lead part of Aladdin in the SSE Arena Belfast alongside co-stars Nadia Forde and Rhydian. He loved the experience and it was made even more special by the fact that it was the first time a panto had be produced in an arena in Ireland or Northern Ireland. “Performing to audiences on that scale every day during panto gave me a hunger to do that for the rest of my life!” says Jake.

Following this Jake had a very short break over Christmas before he was straight into rehearsals for RTE’s Dancing With The Stars 2018. Jake quickly established himself as the one to watch in the competition and as the weeks went by Jake and his pro dance partner Karen Byrne wowed the judges and audiences at home with their impressive dance routines – scoring them top marks most weeks and regularly taking top place on the leader board. So it was no surprise when Jake and Karen landed themselves a place in the grand final and ultimately went on to take the title of king and queen of the dance floor 2018.

Following his success on Dancing With The Stars, Jake has released two new singles to radio titled ‘The little Things You Do’ and most recently ‘Take Me Dancing’ which featured pop diva Una Healey better known as one fifth of multiplatinum selling girl group – The Saturdays.

The feel good summer dance anthem sits strongly on the pop music charts with a perfect blend of Jake and Una’s musical influences. Jake recently completed his debut Irish tour which was a roaring success by all accounts, and now due phenomenal demand Jake is delighted to announce his brand new tour this Autumn which will see him and live band perform across the country in Omagh, Letterkenny, Ennis, Thurles, Claremorris and Dublin. “I am over the moon to be going back on the road with my band! We had so much fun on the last tour, and there were pockets of the country that we missed and really wanted to get back on the road and bring our show to those places, especially Dublin! It’s crazy that we haven’t played a show in Dublin yet so to be playing Vicar St. this October is a big deal for me! We are planning a spectacular tour, full of surprises!! “ .
