Major Symposium to put Tipperary Retail in limelight

This free Symposium is a must for all businesses in the Retail Sector across County Tipperary.  The focus is on exploring the evolving customers’ expectations of their independent retailers and what can be implemented to meet these by the retail businesses across the county.  The event will feature presentations from an expert body of speakers all focused on providing practical and thought provoking ideas to support your Retail Business.

 

Conor Pope will look at the importance of responding to consumer trends in order to meet the new and evolving expectations of the customer.

 

David Fitzsimons will explore how to draw in and retain customers through delivering a high quality experience that is rooted in convenience.

 

Mary McAuliffe will draw on her wealth of knowledge to advise how businesses can successfully carry out novel promotional activities and events to draw people into your store or outlet.

 

Rachel Doyle will share  her experience of transforming her family owned garden centre in Carlow into an award winning   innovative home &  garden centre which boasts  its own retail outlet and  cafe . The  importance and potential of eCommerce to the Arboretum will be highlighted.  

 

Edel Garavan from Irish Web HQ will speak on The C’mon Tipp Buy Local Campaign, which is a call to action to consumers to buy in county Tipperary.  Information on how to engage with this new ground breaking  campaign  to further promote your retail  business will be provided.

 

A panel of expert Mentors will be available on the day for one-to-one sessions to advise you on how to optimise your  Digital Media platforms and we will have a professional Photographer on site to take  headshot images for  future use in your social media,  branding and promotional materials.  The Local enterprise Office will be in attendance to promote the ‘Trading on Line’ Voucher scheme and answer any related queries.
