Culture Night then moves in the Source Auditorium with new musical works by local band Sam Rapoport and the 5Day, who recently performed their brand of rockabilly/skiffle at Feile Beag; New Blue Sioux, based in Kilkenny featuring former lead singer of Tuesday Blue – Mike Ryan – with Geri Ryan, a pair who create incredible long-form guitar based soundscapes. Finally, the Source presents Billy O’Dwyer. Based in Cashel , singer/songwriter Billy has released three albums to date (The Time Has Come, I’ll See You Tonight in My Dreams and Mona Lisa Smile) and is currently working on his fourth. Billy’s songs Tipperary Girl and Hey, Mr. Moon have both been recorded by Irish legend Daniel O’Donnell.

All events are free, with the Arts Lab starting at 7 p.m. and expected to run to 10.30 p.m. The Source Bar will remain open throughout, so this is a great chance to drop in to your local Arts Centre and see what’s happening now – in Visual Arts, Drama and Music throughout the region.
