The Original Craft Beer Festival Is Back

For the seventh year running, the Irish Craft Beer Festival returns to the RDS in Dublin from the 7th – 9th September 2017. The nation’s original and biggest craft beer event will host over 40 breweries boasting over 200 tipples to tantalise your taste buds.

In line with the five-fold growth figure in the Irish craft beer industry since the festival first opened its doors, organisers are once again predicting a record turn-out in attendees. Not only will attendees get to taste the nations trusted favourites as well as a record number of festival brews and spirits/cocktails – on show will also be over 15 American craft breweries participating via a collaboration with the American Brewers Association –  most of which are not available on the Irish isle to date! To top this off, the explosion in the Irish spirits and distilling market will be aptly reflected in the extensive cocktail offering from our Irish craft poitín makers and a number of gin, whiskey and vodka distillers!

This year’s festival promises to bring visitors an experience that is unrivalled throughout the country. It is the pinnacle of the year within the Irish craft beer and cider industries. For three days, each supplier sets up its own space within the venue and chats with consumers, enjoying discussions about the intricacies of each unique combination of flavours making every individual product stand out from the next.  Hot Press will return to run a number of panel discussions with brewers and distillers on issues topical in the industry, with Stuart Clark as MC.
