Borrisoleigh Track-Attack Notes
Templederry’s Sean Collins in Pole Position
Following the accumulation of points after the sixth round action of the Track-Attack Twin Peaks Series, 32 of the 33 group leaders have retained the pole position with the only exception happening in group 23.
Templederry’s Sean Collins produced yet another excellent performance and as a result he has overtaken Cian Murphy at the head of proceedings with the minimum lead of a single point.
Although 32 participants retained their leading positions, the gaps have closed in many with the chasing packs making great inroads into the leads.
In Group 3, Donal Ryan have 77 points but Kathleen O’Meara is now on 69 while Anne McCormack and Noel Cahill are both on 97. In group 8, Jane Chadwick has 66 points but Teresa Murray is within touching distance on 61 points.
In group 10, Margaret Meehan and Noreen Ryan continue their battle with Margaret now holding a slender 4 point lead. Caroline Hassett holds a 6 point lead over Frances Maher in group 11 while Cathal O’Brien is hanging onto a 3 point lead over his namesake Cillian in group 17.
Celia Dwan is holding off Martina Kennedy in group 20 where she has a 4 point lead while Daniel Groome is keeping Cathal Kennedy at arm’s length but only just as the lead is now down to 5 points.
