Free parking for Christmas in Cahir and Clonmel
Independent Local County Councillor for the Clonmel/Cahir Borough District, Martin Lonergan has welcomed the announcement that free parking will be available again this year to the public in car parks of Clonmel and Cahir on every Saturday from 10am during December, 2016.
Commenting on the news Councillor Lonergan said, “As with previous years this move in the run up to Christmas has being extremely beneficial to the local economy with positive feedback from retailers and customers.
It is extremely important that we continue to encourage people to support local businesses in Clonmel and Cahir and this Christmas more than ever I believe that it is vital that people support local businesses throughout the District.”
It should be noted that parking charges will continue to apply for on-street parking on these dates in both towns.
