North Tipperary Macra na Feirme notes
On Friday night last the first competition of the Macra year was held in Rocky’s Bar Nenagh. Congratulations to both Nenagh and Newport Macra who won the quiz and qualifies for the next round of the competition on the 1st October in Dublin

Nenagh Macra:
Last weekend was a busy weekend for Nenagh Macra. On Friday night we hosted the North Tipperary round of Question Time in Rocky’s Bar Nenagh. We were delighted to join the quiz with our fundraiser for Bru Columbanus, a home from home accommodation facility for families or sick patients in Cork Hospital. A fantastic €402 was raised. We would like to thank everyone who sponsored prizes, and to Noreen, Jim and family in Rocky’s for allowing us to host the quiz in their fantastic establishment.
We were delighted to have won the first competition of the year and will know represent the region in the finals in Dublin in October.
The club are planning a night out in Lisdoonvara in September. All are welcome to join us on the night. More details to follow on the Nenagh Facebook page or contact any committee member.

Devilsbit Macra
It has been a hectic few weeks for Devilsbit Macra. We would like to congratulate Thomas Hayes on competing in the FBD Young Farmer of the Year competition last week in Drogheda. All though Thomas did not win the competition, he represented himself, club and county very well. Well done, Thomas.

We are also busy preparing for one of the biggest events in the Macra Calendar year, the Rally.
