Tipperary Rose Fiona O Sullivan spoilt for choice with Tipperary Fashion

‘Life is too short to wear boring clothes’, especially when you are spoilt for choice in Tipperary!’

by Tipperary Rose, Fiona O Sullivan

As I prepare myself (and my wardrobe) for The Rose of Tralee, I decided to take the Chamber’s advice and ‘shop local’. I travelled Tipperary scouting clothes and I was blown away with the fashion that is available on our doorstep. Who needs to travel to New York?!

Tipperary caters for all occasions. For instance, Debs season is creeping up on us (just like the Rose of Tralee) and if you are looking for a gown, Stakelums Fashion’s in Thurles has a fantastic range. A particular favourite of mine is the plum dress which was so comfortable to wear!

Just like the Debs, the Races are well and truly underway, and if you are looking for a milliner, Alison Roe is your lady. Based just outside of Roscrea, Alison’s headpieces are original, unique and I feel beautiful when I wear them. They will be the only hats that I will be wearing this year!

Paula McCormack is another lady who often wins best dressed throughout Tipp! Take a look at her Facebook page Style by Maypetals to get a glimps of the most fashionable clothes and handmade jewellery at fantastic prices. One of my favourites was the off the shoulder black dress with a floral skirt, something nobody else will have!

Thurles boutiques, Le Chateau and Le Chateau Choos have some very unique pieces that will definitely grab attention. Paired with an Alison Roe original piece, I adored the skirt and top combo – it was such fun to wear!

When you find yourself in Nenagh and need an outfit for any occasion, pop into Sixty Three Boutique and Majella will sort you out! I loved wearing the head to toe Irish designed floral dress and yellow shoes, a definite for Tralee!

First Editions is a shop known in both Tipp town and Thurles. The clothes that are for sale are just stunning! There is something for every lady to wear in this boutique. I adored the blue culottes jumpsuit, an item that everyone needs in their wardrobe!

Finally, En Paris has a fantastic range of clothing. I adored the white dress that is perfect for a summer in Ireland! Be sure to pay a visit when you are in Tipp Town or Thurles Shopping Centre!

Thanks to all the boutiques, The Anner Hotel, Mary Duffy Hair and especially John Cash from Golden Photography- you can check out the Facebook page Luv Tipperary for more!

While in Tralee, I will feel confident and proud showcasing the style that can be found throughout the premier county!
