One of Ireland’s finest classical quartets at The Source Arts Centre

Distinguished musicians Mia Cooper, Anna Cashell, violins, Joachim Roewer, viola and William Butt, cello will perform for just one night at The Source Arts Centre. The programme includes works by Haydn, Schubert and Michele Esposito.

The Esposito Quartet was set up in 2010. Their name reflects their admiration for Michele Esposito, pianist and composer, who for forty years from 1888 was the initiator for much of the chamber music making in Dublin through the establishment of The Royal Dublin Society. Two of their members, violinist Mia Cooper and cellist William Butt have recorded the Esposito String Sonatas with pianist Lance Coburn and the quartet plans to record the string quartet alongside works of his continental contemporaries.

This promises to be a truly breath-taking show, a special night awaits those who appreciate the very best in classical music.

Programme:

Haydn: String Quartet in G major Op.76 No 1

Esposito:  String Quartet Op.60
