Micheál Martin to deliver Oration at the 93rd General Liam Lynch Memorial Mass in Newcastle this Sunday

Micheál Martin, TD, Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil will deliver this year’s Oration at the 93rd Liam Lynch Memorial Mass in Newcastle this Sunday, 10th April 2016.

Local Independent TD, Mattie McGrath and the Memorial Mass Committee invite members of the public to the Commemoration which will begin with the unveiling of a 1916 Memorial in Newcastle Village at 12 noon where the Tri-Colour will be raised and the Last Post sounded. The Chairman of Tipperary County Council, Cllr. Seamus Hanafin will read the Proclamation. A march will take place behind a Bagpiper to Newcastle Church, where Mass will be celebrated at 12.30pmled by Fr. Gareth Desmond, PP.

Following Mass, refreshments will be served in the Community Hall in Newcastle which will then be followed by the Oration which this year will be delivered by the Fianna Fail Leader, Micheál Martin, TD. The Local Comhaltas Group, the County Scór na bPaisti finalists will perform along with local musicians.
