Upland Players present ‘When Are You Going Back’ – Upperchurch 18th & 19th March

The Upland Players present ‘When Are You Going Back’ a new comedy by Gerry Britt, in Upperchurch Community Centre 18th & 19th March. The play is about a clueless Yank searching his roots, a rural pub threatened with foreclosure, and a promising racehorse that might save the day.

The playwright, Gerry Britt, is a native of New York who traced his roots back to Upperchurch and Drombane. He is now a frequent visitor to Ireland. His book ‘Goodwill on Credit, Travels in Ireland‘ contains a number of humorous and insightful stories into his travels around Ireland. If the play is anyway as entertaining as his book, it is sure to be tremendous performance and a great night out.
