Gearóid Fitzgibbon’s election campaign to be launched by Green Party Leader in Tipperary Town

Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan, will officially launch the Tipperary Green Party candidate, Gearóid Fitzgibbon’s election campaign on Thursday next 11th February in the Excel Theatre, Tipperary Town at 7.30pm.
Gearóid Fitzgibbon's election campaign to be launched by Green Party Leader in Tipperary TownGearóid is asking that people from Tipperary who wish to engage in the
conversation about policies, about people, and about the political system
take the opportunity to come along.
Fitzgibbon says that “The Irish public has become deeply cynical about politics. The trend towards electing independents is part of this. Using taxpayers’ money, Independent TDs build a pool of support based on personal favours, but have nothing to contribute for a long term vision for our country. The current election debate in Tipperary is producing no new ideas on how to produce jobs and investment for the county. My ideas on cutting Tipperary’s 300 million bill on imported energy will produce quality new jobs and local investment.”
All are welcome to attend his launch, where you will have an opportunity to input into the agenda, as well as meeting Gearóid, his supporters and party members.
