Tipperary’s Pauric O’Meara Remains Hot Favourite to win Voice of Ireland
Bressie may be the only coach left on the Voice of Ireland to have places remaining on his team, but that hasn’t stopped him taking over the betting to win.
The two-time champion coach is now the 2/1 favourite to win the show for a record third time. Tipperary’s Pauric O’Meara is the strongest of the team as he heads the betting as the 3/1 favourite, with newcomer to the team Moylan Brunnock, from Waterford, the next one to watch at 12/1.
Kian Egan topped off his team when he added Kelsey Hoare from Cork (12/1) and Andrew Barry from Wexford (16/1) on Sunday, but it is Luke Ray Lacey that continues to pose a threat to win as the 6/1 second favourite.
Having never won the show, Kian may be elated to know that he is now rivalling Bressie for the title at 9/4.
Brazil’s Emmie Reek is third in the outright betting at 8/1 to win it for Team Una with Rachel’s newest team member Ciaran Driscoll, from Derry, also on offer at 8/1.
Aoife Heffron, PR Executive for BoyleSports commented “Despite having two spots left to fill, Bressie has emerged as the coach to beat. Having 3/1 favourite Pauric O’Meara on his side helps, as the Tipperary native continues to attract support from punters.”
She added “This could finally be Kian’s year on the Voice of Ireland with the majority of his team featuring in the top half of the betting. There is also very little between him and current favourite coach Bressie at 9/4 and 2/1 respectively which could make their bromance rivalry even more fiery coming into the live shows.”
